Houses and House Captains
When a child starts at Silchester School, they are allocated to a “house”. Throughout the year children can be awarded house points through a number of ways including their work, behaviour and sportsmanship. There a 4 houses at Silchester, which are each represented by a colour.
- Chichester: Red
- Salisbury: Green
- Winchester: Blue
- York: Yellow
Each year Children in Year 6 can stand to be elected as House Captains to represent their house across the school. In 2005/06, the captains are as follows:
- Chichester: Jessica Godwin & Connor Beales
- Salisbury: Laura Whiteway & Stuart Chambers
- Winchester: Craig McKenzie & Jane Small
- York: Conal Broughton & Robert Nicholson
