The constitution is a document which sets out the rules by which the PTA is governed. It describes the aims and powers of the association; its membership; the size of the Committee and how members are elected; and the need for an annual general meeting and annual audit.
The object of the PTA as stated in the constitution is to advance the education of the pupils in the school.
We hope to achieve this by:
- developing more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school
- engaging in activities which support the school and advance the education the pupils
- providing and assisting in the provision of facilities or items for education at the school
